CNC Routing & Tooling Capability
Aero Services brings over 25 years of experience in the design and manufacture of moulds, jigs, and fixtures supporting a wide range of manufacturing processes. Our in-house CNC routing capability underpins composite, vacuum forming, and polymer operations—enabling rapid development, accurate tooling, and repeatable production.
Moulds, Jigs & Fixtures
We design and manufacture tooling for:
- FRP and composite components
- Vacuum formed components
- Polymer casting
- Assembly jigs and checking fixtures
All tooling is developed with a manufacturing-first philosophy, ensuring durability, dimensional stability, and suitability for production environments.
CNC Machining Capability
Moulds and tooling are machined in-house on our 3-axis CNC routers, allowing control over quality, lead time, and design iteration.
Key capabilities include:
- CNC router bed size: 3000 × 1500 mm
- Larger tooling accommodated through modular machined assemblies
- Digitally controlled machining to achieve ±0.5 mm tolerance
- Ability to machine complex three-dimensional geometries
Routing & Cutting Materials
Our CNC routing capability supports both 3D machining and 2D profiling of a wide range of materials, including:
- Plastics and engineering polymers (including Necuron and other tooling boards)
- Wood and MDF
- Brass
- Aluminium
- Phenolic materials
This versatility supports tooling manufacture as well as production cutting of finished components.
Pattern Making Expertise
Aero Services has an established team of experienced pattern makers, supporting the development of accurate master patterns, moulds, and tooling for both prototype and production applications.
